Tony Bell presents County Proclamation to Dr. Kallay to commemorate the occasion
Our hearts were filled with joy and anticipation with the dedication of the Johnie Bennett Memorial Outdoor Classroom. We unveiled a plaque commemorating Johnie and her dedication to Ascension and rolled out our new KaBOOM Imagination Playground equipment for the kids to play on the refurbished grounds. We want to express our appreciation to Msgr. Thomas Welbers, Pastor of Good Shepherd Church, for blessing our new space and declaring the new Imagination Playground officially open. Mr. Tony Bell, Assistant Chief Deputy/Communications Deputy for Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich, presented an official County proclamation recognizing the contribution Ascension has made to the community and the new Johnie Bennett Memorial Outdoor Classroom.
