THANK YOU
A huge thank you to all our parents, student council, and teachers who helped put together, work and clean up during our Harvest Festival. Ascension students really enjoyed this activity, they also were so creative in the Saint’s costumes. Once again thank you.
Day of the Dead Celebration
This week October 31st through November 4th we will displaying our Altars for those who have passed away. Each buddy classrooms have a table set up in the auditorium. Stop by and view their displays
Box – Tops
Congratulations to PK and TK they brought in the most Box-Tops for the month of October. This Friday, November the 4th Mrs. Avila will be serving nachos to our winning classrooms. For the month of November the classroom who bring in the most box-tops will earn a Free Dress Friday (Theme – Favorite College)
Candy Fundraiser
Monies were due 10/14/16, we still have outstanding balances. If full payment is not received by 11/4/16 you will occur a late charge of $25.00. If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to phone, email (ascprincipal@ascensionschoolla.org) or drop by the office to speak to Mrs. De La Rosa.
Trimester
First trimester will be ending on 11/9/16, with 1/3 of the school year is behind us, it is a good time to check in. If you have not completed about 12 of your parent service hours, you may want to begin as soon as possible.
Service Hours Opportunities
On November 10th and 11th we need parents who will help with preparing the PK playground for the rubber mulch. Please contact Mrs. De La Rosa, Miss Debbie or Mrs. Moutran if you able to help or if you have questions.

Gracias
Un enorme gracias a todos nuestros padres, consejo de estudiantes y profesores que ayudaron a poner juntos, trabajar y limpiar durante nuestro Festival de la Cosecha. Los estudiantes de Ascension realmente disfrutaron de esta actividad, también fueron muy creativos en trajes de los santos. Una vez muchos, gracias.
Celebración Del Día De Los Muertos
Esta semana, el 31 de Octubre a 4 de Noviembre vamos a mostrar nuestros altares para quienes han fallecido. Cada companero de lectura de cada clase tienen una mesa creada en el auditorio. Pasen y vean sus altares.
Box – Tops
Felicitaciones a PK Y TK trajeron la mayoría Box-Tops durante el mes de Octubre. Este Viernes, el 4º de noviembre la Sra. Avila estará sirviendo nachos a nuestras aulas ganadoras. Durante el mes de Noviembre el aula que traiga la cantidad mas grande de Box-Tops ganará vestidura libre para un Viernes (Tema – Universidad Favorita)
Venta De Dulces
El dinero se debía el 10/14/16, todavía tenemos saldos pendientes. Si no se recibe el pago completo para el 11/4/16 se le agregara un cargo tarde de $25.00. Si usted tiene cualquier pregunta o inquietud por favor no dude de llamar por teléfono, o mandar un correo electrónico (Ascprincipal@ascensionschoolla.org) o pasar por la oficina para hablar con la Sra. De La Rosa.
Trimestre
Primer trimestre finalizará en 11/9/16, con 1/3 del año escolar detrás de nosotros, es un buen momento para hacer sus revisiones. Si no ha completado alrededor de 12 horas de servicio de padre, es posible que desee comenzar tan pronto como sea posible.
Oportunidades De Horas De Servicio
El 10 de Noviembre y el 11 necesitamos padres que ayuden a preparar el patio de recreo de PK para el pajote de goma. Póngase en contacto con la Sra. De La Rosa, la Srta. Debbie o Sra. Moutran si pueden ayudar o si tiene preguntas.
