Ascension Catholic School is blessed to have a student body in grades Pre-K through 8 who come to us eager to learn. Most are from hard-working, poor families in our community who want a brighter, faith-filled future for their children, but can’t afford the benefit of a Catholic school education.
While many children have languished or have been lost in traditional schools, we have seen students who had the advantage of a Catholic school education excel and develop into promising future leaders.
We endeavor to accept all students and families regardless of financial need. Children supported through Ascension’s Adopt-A-Student Program, has meant the difference between a life lost and a future filled with promise. We are proud to say that 100% of our students graduate with 98% college bound!
While the cost of educating a student nears $4200 a year, 80% of our families are on some level of assistance. You can help us extend our reach to even more deserving young people in East and South Central Los Angeles communities by participating at different contribution levels. All Adopt-A-Student funds raised are restricted for tuition assistance only.
